Abibat Tinubu is a Nigerian businesswoman and politician who served as a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly. She was born on September 21, 1956, in Lagos State, Nigeria, and is the daughter of the late Kafaru Tinubu, a prominent businessman and philanthropist.
Abibat Tinubu attended the Ondo State School of Basic Studies and later obtained a degree in Business Administration from the University of Lagos. She also has a Master's degree in Business Administration from the same institution.
Tinubu ventured into politics and was elected into the Lagos State House of Assembly under the platform of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) in 2007. She was re-elected in 2011 and served as the Deputy Chief Whip of the House.
Apart from her political career, Abibat Tinubu has also been involved in several business ventures. She is the founder and CEO of ABiT Network, a digital payment company that offers services such as online payments, mobile top-up, and utility bill payments.
Abibat Tinubu is also a philanthropist who has supported various charitable causes and organizations across Nigeria. She is married with children.
